You know, they usually have safety warnings on things for a reason. Like the weed-whacker. They warn you to always ALWAYS wear eye protection of some kind while operating it. I ignored the warning, and lo and behold a stray piece of shrapnel flew straight into my eye. Now it stings, waters, and generally causes me great discomfort and agony. Let that be a lesson to you all. Will I wear eye protection next time I operate it? Never have, probably never will. But I will only have myself to blame if this catastrophe should, God forbid, occur a second time. Learn from my mistake.

sometimes i like to go swimming. sometimes i just really dont. tonight was one of those nights. i went swimming because we are housing 7 people who are on a choir tour from houston. they wanted to go swimming, so i had to swim. i dont really like the feeling after you get out of a pool, i always feel so dry. like the chlorine saps the moisture from my skin, i become insufferably dry. does this happen to anyone else, or is that just weird.

im supposed to be cleaning my room right now. i tried to explain to my mom that i'm just too full to clean. i had a big lunch. she didn't really buy it so much, but im still just gonna relax, kick it, maybe take a nap. the cleaning can wait... existence cannot!

so i'm sitting here thinking about this research paper that i need to write. not actually writing it, just thinking about how much i dont want to do it. so im not doing it. i hate school. 6 a's and 1 b. and i am SO skating by. booooooring.

i wish i could miss a day of school. have a mental health day. maybe someday this week. i have earned one, no absences or tardies so far.

ok so im updating at church cuz i cant do it at my house. so this is from a while ago.

ok so today was teh saddest but happiest day ever. tomorrow andy and heidi set foot on a plane to the west coast, looking for gold, God, and glory. its manifest destiny, man. ok so not really, but they're gone. i have cried, laughed, hugged... im done. im done being sad about it... maybe. it is definitely the end of an era. the office is going to be very lonely tomorrow, just me and one andy. but its ok, because a plane ticket to san fran shouldn't be TOO TOO expensive. not more than im willing to pay, anyway. i think now i might finally be able to move on. i've been in such a funk lately, and i think now i may be able to pull myself together and face the day. i sure hope so. good luck andy and heidi fox. if things dont work out, well... theres room in mandeville for you.
